Grainger County Parks and Recreation is extremely excited to announce that we are hosting the 2nd Annual Grainger County Fall Festival!

This year’s event will kick off at Grainger County Park on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 6:00PM with “Grainger’s Got Talent”. Grainger County Parks & Recreation will be having a Fish-Fry Fundraiser with all the fixings available for sell during this event. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be going to help Grainger County Parks & Recreation purchase equipment.  Then on Saturday, October 1, 2022 the festival continues at Grainger County Park with a day packed full of various events for children and adults, FREE to all visitors! Various types of music will flow through the festival from an outdoor stage. We plan to bring the best in country, bluegrass, and gospel music for a free to the public concert.

Also, throughout the day, various activities such as a Pageant, Bike-A-Thon, Walk-A-Thon, Pumpkin carving, and a Covid Memorial will be scheduled along with the opportunity to purchase food, drinks, and snacks for the family. Train rides, bounce house, obstacle course, face painting and other activities will also be provided for children in this year’s “Kid’s Fun Zone”. We plan to wrap things up for the festival Saturday night with a fireworks finale!

What an awesome way to bring a large group of people together! Of course, to contract such talented and recognized groups, we will have expenses. We need our community to help us this year and in years to come so we can continue this opportunity!
